The Clifton Performance Theatre before the paint went on

This is what the space looked like when the Brammers and Camerons looked at it as a possible home for their Clifton Performance Theatre. It was bleak and dreary. You are seeing it after they devoted hours (and more hours) to cleaning!

Since the space was located on Ludlow (the main street in Clifton), we all agreed it would be the perfect location. It is within a short walking distance from all of our homes.

The theatre is designed for local children as well as adults to have a place to perform for the Clifton community. It will seat approx. sixty-five guests. These small theatres are callede "pocket theatres" in Europe. (Howard & I saw lots of them in Austria.)

It has been open only a matter of weeks, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.  The children have already performed Peter Pan & Alice in Wonderland a couple of times as well as other shows. (They use the European spelling for theatre.)
