Labor Day Fireworks Over Cincy

The thought of joining a half million people on the banks of the Ohio to see fireworks tonight did not sound appealing. We chose to stay on our couch and watch it from home. It was great, and there was no driving home afterwards. (This was taken from our T.V.)

Martha, Richard and I (along with our son who lives in Madeira, and our daughter, son-in-law and first grandchild, Ethan from Lafayette, IN) were on the river for the fireworks. We have been going every year for the last four or five....We were all afraid that Ethan would be petrified. (He's 18 months old)...he LOVED them for the first 15-20 minutes, then promptly fell asleep in my lap with my hands over his ears. Slept through the rest of them and the trip in his stroller back to the Hyatt...
I came across your Blog from the Miami Pursuit blog...Have enjoyed reading....
